After many years of civil unrest that ended in 2011, the Ivory Coast has shed its turbulent past and created a booming economy (the best in West Africa) with a lot of foreign investment, social investments in its civilian population, and a strong focus on military security.
To assuage any concerns, you may have on the current crisis unfolding in the Middle East, the Ivory Coast, which is 42% Muslim, has not experienced demonstrations rising out of the Israel-Hamas war.
